"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, playing is serious learning."
-Mr. Rogers

Acorn Class
 1 - 2 year old students

Our smallest learners will receive a gentle introduction to traditional preschool activities, scaled down and appropriate for toddlers.  Daily activities include free exploration of learning centers, art, music, outdoor play, snack and lunch.

Sprout Class
  2 - 3 year old students

These young scholars will benefit from a play-based program that keeps them moving and engaged.  Exploratory lessons happen inside the classroom and outside in nature. We strive to honor a child's natural curiosity and sense of wonder as they form relationships with their peers and the world around them.  Thoughtfully constructed lessons adapt to capture the attention and interest of the child on any given day.  An emergent curriculum keeps children engaged and cultivates a passion for learning!

Oak Class
   3 - 4 year old students

In our preschool program, children will continue to learn in a play-based environmentwhile receiving more challenging one-on-one instruction in the areas of math and literacy to build the skills needed for kindergarten success.  Learning happens in the classroom and OUTSIDE as much as possible.  Learning here is immersive and sometimes messy, but this is such a great way to learn math, literacy and science. Going beyond learning letters and numbers, our program will develop confidence, logical thinking and creative expression.  Your child will thrive, while making friends and learning self-regulation, patience and cooperation.   Because we know that kindergarten readiness is so much more than knowing your letters!

Kindergarten Class

Our kindergarten classroom serves as a year of transition between preschool and a more formal learning environment.  We strongly believe that young learners deserve a hands-on, engaging curriculum focused on literacy and math skills.  We meet and exceed state kindergarten learning guidelines.  Class size is limited to 12 students to provide opportunity for more personalized learning.  Our program functions as a homeschool hybrid program.  The majority of the formal learning is completed at school with our certified, trained teacher and additional time is spent at home working on assigned enrichment and reinforcement lessons.

After School Explorers Club

After school explorers is an after school enrichment club that happens each day after school from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.  This club allows extra time for children to go deeper into the topics we are exploring at school each day. This special time will be filled with outdoor play time, nature hikes, science experiments and art.
